Overview
The Nursery at full capacity requires four men to operate the facility.
The Nursery can realize survival rates up to 98% if the Puerulus purchased are the right age and in strong condition when they arrive to the Nursery.
The growing cycle at the Nursery is between 55-60 days to raise a lobster Puerulus to a fifth molt lobster that can be transferred to the company grow out farm.

SEA CAGE CLEANING
The Sea Cages are cleaned every morning removing uneaten food from the prior day and exoskeletons from molting lobsters.
During the Nursery growing cycle the Sea Cages are typically fouled by marine growth and Ocean turbidity requiring cleaning to maintain a healthy environmental habitat for the lobsters. These Sea Cages are cleaned with high pressure water to remove all marine growth and other Ocean material to maintain the best water quality at the Nursery.
