Dr. Tuan is currently a professor at Nha Trang University. He has been researching on sugpo prawn and many other seafood objects from 1993. As for lobster, Dr. Tuan had chances to participate in many projects granted by the United Kingdom such as Cages Project (1997-1999) and Tropeca Project (2002-2005); by Australia including CARD Project (2000-2002) and ACIAR Project (2005-2015) and other recent ones. He has studied different areas related to lobster such as technique of exploiting lobster breeds, lobster farming, farming systems, nutrition and food, health management for lobster farming and other environmental problems of lobster farming.

Mr. Kham is currently 46 years old and the owner/manager of a successful lobster Nursery Farm located in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. Mr. Kham started his career path at 24 working for his father in the family lobster and Nursery farming business. In 2002 Mr. Kham took over full management of the family’s lobster business and has managed these businesses to the present. Over the years Mr. Kham and his father have developed many innovative growing techniques and improved equipment technology to make their company one of the leaders in the vast lobster Aquaculture farming industry in Vietnam. Their collective contribution to the quality of their lobster growing at their Nursery has always been highly appreciated and recommended by the lobster farmers in the southcentral region of Vietnam.

Name: Mr. Vinh – Chief Grow-Out Farm Advisor

Mr. Vinh born in 1971 and the owner of a lobster grow-out farm in Van Ninh, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam. In 1993 at the age of 22 Mr. Vinh joined his family’s lobster business to assist his father and to develop his lobster Aquaculture skills to become one of the great lobster farmers in his region of Vietnam. After five years working for his father Mr. Vinh became the General Manager of the family business and has been lobster farming until the present time. Mr.Vinh has developed many innovated lobster growing techniques over the years and has become one of the leading lobster farming family businesses in the southcentral region of Vietnam.

In 2010 Ms. Chan graduated from Nha Trang University with a major in Aquaculture. Since graduation Ms. Chan has become an efficient assistant to Dr. Tuan working on many lobster related projects, specifically ones in the study of nutrition and food development for lobsters in Vietnam. In 2019, Ms. Chan completed her master’s degree from Nha Trang University in Aquaculture with her thesis regarding live lobster transport systems for Panulirus ornatus and Panulirus homarus.
